• Distracted and aggressive drivers (about 17 percent of all drivers engage in both distracting and aggressive behaviors);
• Distracted drivers (around 15 percent of drivers do not engage in other dangerous behaviors but do engage in distracted driving, such as texting while driving);
• Most dangerous drivers (this group makes up 2.4 percent of all drivers, and they engage in multiple types of risky behaviors that put both themselves and others at risk); and
• Impaired drivers (although drunk driving is a causal factor in many crashes, this group only accounts for about 1.3 percent of drivers.
