Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Handle conflict resolution, reasonable accommodation, discipline, termination, and investigation of employees in accordance with company policy.
- Legal Compliance: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Cultural Champion: Be a champion and role model of our culture, helping the team understand and live our core values through effective programs that promote morale while achieving our company goals. Maintain a pulse on the mood of the organization and act as a connection point between leadership and team members.
- Talent Acquisition: Handle interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members.
- Accountability: Establish systems and practices that promote collaboration, performance, and accountability. Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Coaching: Coach leaders and managers on building a human system, including how to best develop their team members and how to have difficult conversations.
- Organizational Development: Creating and updating organizational structures to better enable organizational strategy, including setting a total rewards philosophy and establishing compensation and benefits approaches that fit within it, and creating policies, guides, and/or philosophies to document practices in a way that aligns with internal culture.
- Learning & Development: Develop and execute all learning and development initiatives and help drive a high-performance, high-growth mindset that focuses on career development and growth.
- Workplace Operations: oversee the building management, workplace, safety & security team to ensure that employees are provided a healthy and conducive working environment.
- Continuous Growth: Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law in order to plan, develop and implement HR continuous improvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations and HR procedures.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic technical/computer skills.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management system.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- A minimum of three years of human resource management experience required.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
